~ Pricing ~

I feel like everyone looks for a bit of explanation when they see the pricing for photo shoots...

A lot of time and effort goes into each shoot. From scheduling sessions, locations, the angle of the sun, outfits, and props, it gets to be a lot of work. Sometimes it involves scouting a location out a few days ahead of time, and stuffing your car so full of props that you can't see out the back window. You're not only paying for the 1-2 hour shoot, you're also covering the 3-5 hours of editing and uploading the photos. It turns out to be a full day's work. Believe me, I hate charging clients so much just for their pictures. I'm just trying to cover the cost of my equipment, the props I'm continuously purchasing, and trying to pay some of my bills =)

Once I take your photos it takes me a while to edit them. Then, I upload them to the website, to a private gallery. I'll send you the link and the password. You can send the link and password to anyone you wish. You can order prints and many different products right from the site and they are shipped to you directly.

*Once a $35 or more print/product order is placed, your gallery will be enabled for a file download*

(A USB of the photos is free once you place an order for $35 or more from my website, otherwise a USB is $30 by itself)

Newborn Photos require a large amount of work. I usually take 4 rubbermaid tubs full of props, blankets, wraps, headbands, baskets, buckets, a posing beanbag, and a backdrop stand. I also carry heaters to keep the babies warm while shooting. These shoots take a long time because each time you move the baby it takes time for them to settle down so they can be positioned in just the right place. But when we're done, it's totally worth it!
